I live nearby or am visiting Chicago, can I come and use the library?

Access to Galter Library is limited to the faculty, staff, residents/fellows, and students of Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. The library is not open to the general public.
Affiliated hospitals provide independent library services to meet the needs of their staff and patients. Physicians and staff without a Feinberg School of Medicine faculty appointment who work at Lurie Children's Hospital, Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, Lake Forest Hospital, or other Northwestern Medicine locations may visit Galter Library in person to search library resources but do not have remote access to Galter Library.
